The next two weeks is all about dinosaurs, with a special day studies for Noah's Ark and Earth Day.

Morning Discussion: Read the story of Noah's Ark. What does the rainbow in the story mean?
Tuesday
Morning Discussion: Have you ever seen a dinosaur? They are real, but they are extinct (introduce vocabulary - what does extinct mean?). Sing Dinosaur, Dinosaur fingerplay.
Wednesday
Morning Discussion: Dinosaurs are reptiles - a scaly animal born from a soft-shelled egg. Sing Dinosaur, Dinosaur fingerplay.
Thursday
Morning Discussion: Down deep in the Earth it is so hot, the rocks melt. This is called lava. Do you know what a volcano is?
WEEK TWO
Monday
Morning Discussion: Talk about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. We can tell the type by looking at an animal's teeth. What type are humans?
Tuesday
Morning Discussion: Paleontologists are scientists who study dinosaur fossils and try to learn what dinosaurs were like while they lived.
Wednesday
Morning Discussion: Happy Earth Day! How is your tomato play doing? Learn Earthworm Lunch rhyme.
Thursday
Morning Discussion: Did you know that dinosaurs lived on the land, in the water, and flew in the sky?
